Past continuous


Past continuous tense เป็นประโยคที่กล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องในอดีตเสมือนว่าเรานั่งไทม์แมชชีนไปจ้องมองดูเหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นในอดีตอย่างไรอย่างนั้นเลย เพื่อให้เข้าใจ เรามาดูโครงสร้างประโยคก่อนค่ะ

โครงสร้างประโยค Past continuous tense

ประโยคบอกเล่า

  S + was/were + V.ing    

  He was playing football yesterday at 10 am.

ประโยคปฏิเสธ

  S + was/were + not + V.ing    

  He was not playing football yesterday at 10 am.

ประโยคคำถาม

  Was/Were+ S + V.ing    

  Was he playing football yesterday at 10 am?
